You Can't Solve the Monkey Mind With the Monkey Mind

You can't solve the monkey mind with the monkey mind. The tool you'd reach for is the problem.

Two days into the drive to Toronto, Michael and Audree stop at an almost-abandoned rest station, and in the blowing of the trees something lands: being present is not a doing. All the talk of "just be present" is mostly the mind pretending it's present. Fakery. The beingness only came after a deep surrender, and the download that came with it: you can't do surgery on yourself. The mind cannot heal the mind. When the ego stops struggling, the love of creation does the untangling.

They're recording from the sun porch of the house Michael grew up in, his dad doing his backwards-walking exercises in the next room. From there the secret gets named: it's all about awareness. Not "be aware and then change it." Just be aware. Notice the thought, and the thoughts go somewhere Michael can't name. Audree can: the mind is a transmitter-receiver, and the thoughts were never stored in your brain. You're not silencing the monkey mind. You're tuning to a different band, quiet because the higher frequency carries none of the lower one's noise. The signal you retune to is love. We're loved into existence, and the separate self lives starved of it.

Then the wider turn. The journey was never just consciousness, Audree says. It's the whole pie. The room you sit in can be dead. Low-frequency homes are prisons we built, and harmony with nature was never to help the planet. Your being is starved, malnourished by your bed, your clutter, the fabrics you wear. Live in chaos, and your life is chaos.

Then their youngest, Sean, wanders in not knowing they had a podcast, and says it better than either of them: if you're not thinking anymore, you won't realize you're there, because you're not thinking about being there. You can't solve the thinking problem with thinking. Now I feel complete.

I was born with mystical gifts I learned to hide from a world that wasn't ready, the weird kid teaching Samadhi at slumber parties while trying to make sense of being different. Almost a decade in formal healing training, a graduate of the Barbara Brennan Collage of Healing. Five years on a Chicago medical team, healing what Western medicine couldn't touch. In 2009 I received Evolutionary Energetics, yet discovering it and embodying it are completely different. I've done the messy work: dissolved my ego, healed my deepest patterns, trusted guidance I couldn't see when everything rational screamed not to. I'm not a guru with all the answers. I'm a real person who happened to be born remembering cosmic truth, walked the uncomfortable path of living it, and learned how to make it practical.

Raised with logic and science, I started as the ultimate skeptic. In my AI PhD program, I discovered that human vision and cognition is controlled hallucination; we literally make up reality. After years in software architecture and management roles leading organizational transformations, the pattern became clear: the consciousness of the leader creates culture, culture creates outcomes. I hit the truth: I was the limiting factor in every change initiative. Meeting Audree transformed everything as our opposite approaches unlocked something extraordinary. Through 100+ leadership trainings, we didn't create this work, we received it, download by download, in an unfolding evolutionary process. I've done the messy work: learned to trust direct experience over logic, followed guidance that made no rational sense. I'm not a guru with all the answers. My passion is the mechanics of creation. I'm the bridge between worlds, translating cosmic downloads into step-by-step practical tools.
