The Mind Is the Last Thing to Change

Audree: Welcome to our living room.

Michael: So I'm gonna start with a

Just a bit of a, not a ramble, but
a, a linking together a whole bunch

of concepts connected with the,
the shower download this morning.

And really, it's all about,
at the end, I'll give you the

punchline, is it's about listening

And creating.

Listening, creating.

That's the, kind of the, you
know, the, the loop, the loop if

you will, if one wants to orient.

Um, so let's, let's backtrack.

So, uh, you know, I woke up again
this morning, as I usually do

in the morning when I wake up.

That's called waking up.

Uh, and, you know, the mind was kinda
going and, you know, behind the mind

there's always, when I, I look, there's
always some sort of contraction I feel.

And it's part of the purification
process of letting go of whatever

allegiances or choices I made to have
those experiences and letting them move

fully through my system and, and so on.

And remembering the, the truth of what and
who I am and, and getting out of the mind.

I think that's kinda where we are
right now in this, this journey of

evolution is, is not operating with
the mind, but operating from awareness.

And just shifting to-

Audree: Remind, remind me when you're
done that I wanna talk about that.

Michael: Y- Okay.

I don't know if I'll remember or not.

Audree: You will.

Michael: Okay.

And just operating from pure awareness,
which is not trying to do anything,

not trying to think anything, but-

Or activating the capacity we
have as awareness to become

present in our being, and from
that being-ness and connectedness,

then operating from that place.

Um, you know, some people
call it, you know, practicing

the presence or, you know…

I mean, there are all sorts of
terms where people try to describe

the indescribable, so I'm not gonna

Audree: try- Mindfulness.

Michael: Yeah, I'm not
gonna try to describe it.

Well, mindfulness is not it, 'cause
mindfulness is the mi- the mind

trying to be, trying to be mindful.

I

Audree: don't even know what
mindfulness is, actually.

Michael: Yeah, it's okay.

Just, just, just let me ramble, lady.

I'm…

Okay.

All right.

Just practice your listening.

And so…

See, now I don't know where I was.

All right, so, so I was just
describing the wake-up procedure.

So, so, so where it got to is like,
okay, well, you know, I, I noticed

my mind really just kinda railing
on, "Oh, you gotta go do this thing.

You gotta really go do this thing."

I mean, like, what, what is that?

Like, what is going on here?

And so I went deeper and deeper and
deeper and deeper and deeper, and the,

the epiphany, the shower moment, is, "Oh

The mind is trying to use its idea
of right and wrong, its model of

how creation works to say, "Oh,
you gotta go do this thing."

You gotta go do this thing

And the mind is operating from th-this
context of limited understanding of

creation, operating from fear, operating
from survival, operating from struggle.

And we're not in this process of trying
to, you know, get rid of the monkey mind.

That's not what the procedure is
in the evolutionary process that's

opening up for humanity at this time.

It's, it's to recover the mind to
operate from its true function in

alignment with unity consciousness.

That's the, that's the actual
program of, of, of repair or of,

of moving to our truth and so on.

And so what, what this brought me
back to is this realization is,

oh, the mind's trying to figure
out good, bad, right, wrong.

Let me know what the model
is so I can get it right.

And what that brought me
back to is this puzzle.

This puzzle of like, well, you know,
sometimes it's right to ask for support,

and sometimes we gotta do it ourselves.

And, you know, what's right in one
moment is wrong in the next moment.

And how the hell are we supposed to know
how to navigate this freaking journey?

That's what came up for me
yesterday when we were in our

channeling session with the Shi.

And then I thought further about
it, and I'm like, "Wait a second,

but this is the nature of paradox."

This is the nature of paradox.

It's like they're both simultaneously
true, asking for support,

and we gotta do it ourselves.

And it's-- And then, and then it's like,
I remember it's like, you know, I've

been in this place of the mind trying to
resolve or come to ease with the paradox.

And what I realized, and this is going
back to very early on in our, in our, in

our trainings for, both in, in leadership
courses for business people as well as,

uh, on the, the personal evolution side
Is that we're talking about is that

our mind does not know what reality is.

Our mind knows only its
distorted version of reality.

It pretends that's reality and operates
from this limited, distorted perception.

And that, uh, what we told people is,
well, the work we're giving them is how to

true up their perception, is how to true
up their internal model, so they have a

more accurate internal model, so that they
can make better choices with their mind.

And, and that's true, and
that's one hundred percent true.

And at the same time, if you
look at where does it end?

Where does it end?

And what I got this
morning is, it can't end.

There is no end.

There-- It is endless because the mind
is trying to create a certainty, a

specific contract-- construct to define
all of creation, which is undefinable.

So the fundamental activity that
your mind, that my mind has been

undertaking our whole lives of creating
certainty, "Oh, this is how it is.

This is the truth.

This is what I need to do.

This is how to survive.

This is blah, blah,
blah," it's all the trap.

Because the, the, I mean, if you just look
at the world around you, it is so complex,

there's no way you can know or understand.

Anything could happen the next moment.

We do not know.

The complexity is so far beyond it.

And then so, so then we start to look
at it, and this is, I think what was

happening with me, I was reflecting
back on the mind, it's like, "Look,

dude, you can't figure this stuff out."

It's not about trying to figure out,
did I get that right or did I get

it wrong and beat myself up and, you
know, try to learn for the next time.

I mean, you know, there, you know, I
mean, I, I was in it, this whole, you

know, organizational improvement and
transformation culture, and you gotta

learn the better way, learn the better
way, make a rule, learn the better way,

update rules, adapt them, da, da, da.

I mean, and, you know, you…

And, and that's wh- And,
you know, here's the joke.

That's what our work is.

And what I realized is
our work is not truth.

That's not what our work is.

Our work is a cookbook, a cookbook
of relative concepts for you to

navigate your way out of the maze

And there's truth in it, and this is,
you know, something that I, that I,

you know, we've said to our students in
the advanced classes, "Well, you have

to remember that truth is relative,
that the, the information, the, the

models, the e- elements of this model
that we've given you that are true at

level one, that are your truth, change
at level five, change at level 11."

And then there's a more expanded
understanding of how creation works

that subsumes or includes that earlier
understanding as a partial understanding.

And so when we look at this at, at, you
know, a m- a mathematician and scientist

at, at its endpoint, there is no end.

There's no way a finite mind
can understand the complexity

of creation that we exist in.

We don't even understand our own bodies.

I mean, those are a sophisticated,
complex bio-organism that operate in

ways that are, are inco- comprehensible.

And if we look at the mind trying
to understand, science trying to…

Excuse me.

Science trying to understand, it's a joke.

I mean, it's just so utterly preposterous
when we actually open ourselves to

the truth of what's actually there.

And so that's the, the, the
epiphany is that, well, there's no,

there's no trying to get it right.

There is no right.

We don't know how things
are gonna play out later on.

There's just listening, right?

That's how the movie Disclosure
Day, which we love, ended.

The alien says, "Just listen."

And that's, that's where I got to is,
well, if there's no model to figure it

out, and then all we do is we just be
in the situation, and we just listen.

We listen to all of creation.

Audree: Right.

You know- We even teach in our
courses, one of the, the major models

is laser listening and how to listen.

Michael: Listen to the system.

Audree: Oh my God, our whole
entire leadership training is how

to listen- Yeah … correctly.

Michael: To the system to understand what

Audree: to do.

To the system to understand
what's really happening and- And

Michael: listen to yourself

Audree: and then when you know what's
really happening, that, only then can

you make the correct choice of, of the,
you know, the sol- find the solution.

Michael: The intervention or the
action or the experiment, yeah.

Audree: Well, that's crazy, 'cause now I'm
seeing like do, do, do, do, do, do, do-

Michael: Right

… Audree: all these different, all these
different modules that we have, all

these different tools and techniques.

It's all about listening-

Michael: Yeah

… Audree: and, and how to find the solution.

Michael: Well, even awareness is
learning how to listen internally.

Audree: Yeah.

Michael: Awareness is just
listening to the, the mechanism

that we are as awareness.

So, so that was the epiphany
is just listen and create

See what happens, listen, create.

And so what happens, uh, so we're not
… I mean, this is not at a human level.

This is at the level of…

When I say listen, and I, I'm just
feeling into it now, it's a listen

like the Jedi do in Star Wars.

Like, they're listening
to all of creation.

They're one with the Force, or one with
all of Source, and they're listening.

And then, and then there's a
knowingness or not … I don't wanna

say knowingness, but there's a,
there's a movement or an understanding

of, of what to do, and it gets done.

It doesn't mean it's perfect.

Doesn't mean it's, like, whatever.

It's just, oh, it's, it's a, it's a
positive creation and it, and it's done.

And this is the whole thing.

When we're in that place, it's
done from a place of, of love of

our own being, love of creation.

Audree: It's done from a
place of psychological safety.

That's what it is.

It's to navigate complexity, the
complexity of creation itself.

Because you're saying the mind wants
to create certainty, and it can't.

So it's how do you navigate the
complexity of life with no certainty?

And when you have the ability to be
comfortable in uncertainty, in the…

We're getting comfortable in the void.

Yeah.

It's like you let go of all the
fear, all the desire for structure,

all the desire f- you, you know.

That's why Buddhism, they practice…

What do they practice?

Uh.

Michael: I don't know.

Audree: Surrender or something.

It's like, you know, not
holding, n- uh, non-attachment.

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Audree: Because when you have
non-attachment, you have … You

develop this inner psychological safety

Psychological safety isn't an external
circumstance or situation or experience.

It's an internal state of being.

And when you have that, you
could say causeless psychological

safety- Yeah … that you're just
comfortable in your own being.

Michael: Yeah.

Audree: And you're comfortable … It's
like getting up in front of a large

audience and not having a speech prepared,
not having a slide deck, completely blank.

Mm-hmm.

And being comfortable going
up there and speaking.

Mm-hmm.

And giving wisdom or sharing a
teaching or, you know, giving the talk.

You know, you've done that before,
like when the, the, uh, the slide

deck, the projector, something broke.

We had a room full of, I
don't know, 600 people.

Oh, yeah.

No, it was standing room only in that

Michael: room.

I, I think it was about 200 or 300.

But anyway.

Audree: No.

Anyways.

I was only

Michael: organizing.

I, I- Oh,

Audree: it was only two … I'm sorry.

It was only 2 or 300 people in the room.

It was a breakout

Michael: room.

It wasn't the keynote.

Audree: And the, every,
all the technology broke

And you were able to give an
amazing, an amazing presentation

With nothing.

I think you asked them for a-- They
got you a flip chart and a, and a,

and a Sharpie or something, a marker.

Michael: Yeah.

Audree: And you gave a talk for
45 minutes or something like that.

Mm-hmm.

And it was brilliant

Michael: Hmm.

Yeah, so I think for me what's
going on is I, I, you know, I'm not

really at all in terms of what I'm
experiencing my being connecting

with the term psychological safety.

Like, that's just nothing … I mean,
maybe that's going on for you, but

in my field, it's something I could
describe as that, but from my-- in my

actual field, it's just … Not just,
it is this profound love of my being

and knowing the, the truth of what I am,
and it's from this place, this is what

I'm experiencing my being right now.

From this place, the mind
can just relax and let go.

It's, it's like the, m- like the
… It's … And this is what, this is why,

you know, Audrey Tara, you know, going
back like a d- you know, since we've

been together almost a decade now, was
saying, you know, so we're, we're, we're

bringing the mind back to God, right?

We're maybe bring the mind back to truth,
and we can only do that with love, right?

Right.

So all the self-judgment we have
about our minds of, you know, the

monkey mind, and my stupid mind,
and all of that, that is the block.

That is part of the block for this whole
process because when we just have this

profound state of love for our own being,
that is the context in which the mind

can say, "Oh, okay, I can let go now.

I don't need to figure it all out.

I can just open up to this
connection and be there."

That's, that's what I'm
experiencing my being.

Audree: Right, 'cause you
don't have imposter syndrome.

You see, what happens is that when you
have … You've done all the work, the

evolution, where you finally stabilize
in this truth of what and who you are-

And that for, for everyone
is just a, a concept.

It has to be a, a visceral experience

Michael: And it doesn't come all at once.

It comes in li- at least for- Right
… us, in like these baby stages of-

Audree: It's, it's- … a little bit
more, and a little bit more … not an

intellectual, "Oh, yes, I'm, you know,
a incarnated being," or, you know,

"I'm source consciousness incarnated in
physical form," or, you know, "I'm God,"

or, um, I'm just trying to, trying to pick
all the, the spiritual concepts in, in-

Michael: I'm light

Audree: I am light.

I am love.

I am one with everything.

Michael: Like, like-

Audree: All these-

Michael: He- here's the check.

Here's a really simple check.

Is that thought coming from your mind?

Yes, therefore it, it is the
mind generating the thought.

Mm-hmm.

It's not the actual experience
from the core- Okay,

Audree: just let me- … of your
being … just let me move forward.

Yeah So, or, you know, you're, you're
in a meditative state, and you come to

this state of stillness, of total peace.

So

What happens on this journey of evolution,
what all spiritual seekers are, are

seeking, what all religions are, are kind
of pointing to, is that there's a state

of being that is still, is peaceful, is

What happens is all the inauthen- the
unauthentic piece of y- of you fall off.

Like in psychology, your mask falls off.

Your wounding gets healed.

There's no need for defenses.

You could be vulnerable
and not be in fear.

You could be vulnerable.

You could share authentically.

You could connect to people authentically.

You can have intimacy because all the
fear, all the anxiety, all the hurt,

and the wounding is cleared away.

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Audree: And so the mind doesn't
have to create all this nonsense.

Michael: Hmm.

Audree: The mind is not reaching for
uns- you know, or reaching for all these

different s- patterns of behavior because
it's not trying to make itself safe.

Michael: It's not trying
to figure it all out.

Audree: That's

Michael: why in this- It's not
trying to figure out the rules.

Mm-hmm.

It's not trying to create the
structure to say, "Oh, I know

what's going on", to feel safe.

Audree: Right.

Not try- it's, it's
okay understanding that

Michael: Life is complex Oh,
this really is the endpoint

of the, the VUCA spectrum, eh?

The, the uncer-
Yeah … complexity spectrum.

Audree: The complexity spectrum.

Michael: Yeah.

Audree: And VUCA.

Right.

Michael: That, that's what it is.

It's like, oh, I'm in uncertainty,
and I'm okay with that.

And what I, what I just got now while
Audrey's speaking is that it's not that

the mind stops trying to understand.

It's the mind is focused
on piecewise understanding.

Let me understand this piece of creation.

And we do that because the mind's a
very powerful tool, um, because we

have that capability for understanding
with the mind, that that's actually

very useful, 'cause if we wanna do
something in, let's say, some area

of, of, of creation, it's, it's
helpful to understand what's going on.

So th- this piecewise
understanding is what is valuable.

But what we're dropping is this, I'm
trying to figure it all out so I'm

safe, the, the global kind of construct
of I need to understand the construct

of w- how to function in my life
so I can make choices as the mind.

And what we're doing is we're stepping
away from that to say, wait a second, wait

a second, wait a second, wait a second.

I can, I can operate under that model
out of fear and scarce- I mean, I,

Audree: I- Survival-based fear

… Michael: survival, right?

Mm-hmm.

Or I can listen and access cosmic
intelligence and the flow of creation and,

and, and choose and create from that place

And, and so what's happening is
it, and this is what I'm just

describing what's going on in my
being now, is it's like there's this

Oh, this is what the Shi talked
about, this, this, this changeover

of the factory, you know?

Mm-hmm.

That once you've made all the small
improvements to the factory, suddenly

you have to shut the factory down
and then change everything around,

and there's a fundamental shift
in, in the, in the functioning.

Audree: Right.

Michael: That's what I'm, I'm … You
know, they were talking about that, like,

I don't know, a week or two ago, but
that's what I'm just getting right now.

Audree: It wasn't a week or two ago.

It was a few days ago.

Yeah.

It was, like, the beginning of the
week or something weird like that.

Anyways, okay, so this
is what I wanted to say.

There's so many people that come to me,
and they, they're like, "I can't meditate.

I tried.

My mind is too … You know,
I can't shut my mind off.

I can't shut my mind off."

And

First of all, meditation is not
about shutting the mind off.

And what I've learned on my journey is
that so what if the mind is still going?

Like meditation is about meditation.

I remember the teacher saying
it's focused concentration.

And there's all different
ways to meditate.

That's why for Westerners, the
best-- one of the best ways to

meditate is during exercise,
because Westerners are action-based.

And so if they're, like, if you're running
or if you're cycling or if you're doing

something, the mind has this ability to
shut off, and the chemicals in your system

are going, you have endorphins going.

So it's, it's just easier
to get into a, into a s- an

altered state of consciousness

But what I'm getting at here for the
sake of our conversation is that so many

people discount meditation because they
think it's about shutting off the mind.

And what we've learned recently, which
is so weird, years and years and years,

I'm talking like since the 1990s.

I mean, I've been meditating my whole
entire life, and I never knew this, and

I studied formally for 20 years, over
20 years, meditation, consciousness,

energetic healing, you know, Reiki master
teacher, pranic healing, theta healing,

Barbara Brennan, all-- like everything.

Going to India, nobody ever talked
about this, and we just got it.

It's like the last thing to work on in--
on the evolutionary journey is the mind.

That's the last piece, not the
first piece of evolution, not

the first shift of consciousness.

It's the last shift in consciousness

And that's because the
mind is connected to

Our brain and the organic computer.

Why are you laughing?

Go ahead.

I'm gonna stop talking

Michael: I know.

I, I, I'm laughing about the
whole joke of the whole thing

Audree: No, I know you're
not laughing at me- The,

Michael: the, um- … but it's

Audree: just

Michael: like you're- There is
no such thing as meditation.

That there's nothing that Audrey
and I do, that we give people tools

or techniques that is meditation.

Nothing.

I've never meditated my whole life, and
I don't even know what that term means,

and I think it's actually extraordinarily
damaging and confusing for people.

Um-

Audree: Even though you did transcendental
meditation, you, uh, did mantra

meditation- Well, so- … you did chakra
meditation- So- … grounding meditation.

Michael: So-

Audree: I'm just, I'm just
saying all the things that we

do, and you're right now saying-

Michael: Well,

Audree: I,

Michael: I'm gonna, I'm
gonna read you the quote.

Medi- meditation…

This is…

I just looked up the def-
Yeah … meditation is the practice

of focusing or clearing the mind.

It says focusing or clearing the mind.

Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm … using mental and physical
techniques to achieve calmness.

So the, the whole distortion
is that meditation is about the

mind, and that's the complete…

That's why I'm saying meditation is BS.

It is a complete hoax.

Because what we're doing, folks, and,
uh, uh, we'll just get, get- I…

No, this is so good

… Audree: let me, let

Michael: me…

What, what we're, what we're
doing is we're actually using very

specific practices for very specific
things that are not about the mind.

They're actually about
completely not the mind.

Like, let's say we're doing
evolutionary energetic practice.

It is about purifying
our energetic system.

Let's say we're using the E2 mantra.

Mm-hmm.

Right?

What is it doing?

It's purifying our system and tuning our
being to the truth of what and who we are.

Why

Audree: don't you- And so- … just
not say truth of what and who

we are, 'cause that's a vague,
obscure- Okay … abstract concept.

It's tuning us to a high
vibrational frequency.

Michael: Yes.

Yeah.

High vibrational frequency-
Mm-hmm … as, as what, what we are,

a source consciousness or whatever.

I, I wouldn't even

Audree: go there.

Okay.

Michael: Anyway.

Yeah.

So what I'm, what I'm getting at,
I've never meditated my whole life.

There is no such meditation.

There is no meditation on our journey.

There are guided practices, such
as the grounding or the, the guided

chakra meditation, which are grounded
practices of visualization that are

techniques to activate a purification,
like anchoring into the permanent grids

or the Christ consciousness grids.

Those are energetic practices that
stabilize our consciousness, our being.

And, and mostly if I look at it,
it's operating at the level of the

physical body, the emotional body,
mental body, uh, uh, the level of, uh,

activating and opening our awareness.

It's operating on all of those things.

And so c- so I'd say that
there is no meditation.

We've never done meditation.

We don't advocate meditation.

No.

We advocate very specific practices-
And even what's called, you

know, transcendental meditation,
that's a specific mantra practice

to activate a specific high
vibrational frequency, right?

So again, it's not a meditation.

It's not.

That's a whole misnomer.

And, and, a- and, you know, this,
this term has been bugging me for a

long time, and I only just got it now

Audree: Isn't that what we do?

Michael: What, figure out what's
actually going on 10 years later?

Yeah.

Yes.

Audree: No, figuring out
what's actually going on.

Michael: Yeah.

Audree: Like, there's no such
thing as kundalini energy.

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Audree: Okay, so here's the deal, people.

Everybody is blindly following some
sort of tradition or lineage or practice

or technique based on assumptions
and half-truths and lies, and we

say this all the time, and we're
certainly very, very controversial.

Everything that we do,
we're controversial.

Michael: You know what I just got?

Audree: Hmm?

Michael: Calling something a meditation
means you do not know what it's doing.

Audree: Yeah.

Michael: It's like this
dumbed down version.

It's like, you know, "Oh, I'm
taking my car to the garage."

Well, are you getting the oil changed?

Are you getting the brakes tuned up?

Audree: Right.

Michael: Are you cl- getting
the, you know, like what exactly

are you doing to your car?

It's like, "Oh, I'm, I'm just
taking it to the garage."

Audree: Right.

So even, like, if you go to a- I

Michael: don't know what it's doing.

Like, how can you not know what
it's doing to your consciousness?

Audree: Think about it.

People go to a 10-day Vipassana
retreat to shut the mind off.

The mind is the mechanic of creation.

It's, it is a part of the neurological,
biological system of our bodies, which

are organic computers, and our minds
are transmitter-receivers of thoughts.

And thoughts are actually
floating through the air.

That's why there's a teaching,
your thoughts are not your

thoughts, your mind is not your
mind, your body is not your body.

It's, like, an ancient teaching.

You know, people don't even
understand What is going on?

Michael: Oh, I just- I

Audree: have no flipping clue.

Michael: Oh, I just thought
about the ridiculous of, of…

I, I mean, it's a beautiful tradition
and there's value in it, but the

ridiculous of, of, of vipassana retreat
to shut your mind off as a goal, it's…

You know, I'm thinking about this thing,
you know, this phrase, you know, "A mind

is a beautiful, beautiful thing to waste."

Like, like, like…

And, and I think that's, again, you know,
this, there's value in the practice,

but this confusion, like the, you know,
the truth, truth and a lie of, "Oh,

you know, we wanna shut the mind off."

No, you don't wanna shut the mind off.

You want to recover the mind so it
functions, and this is what the, where

we started this, or, or, you know, we're
pointing to with this, is to function

in alignment in, in the, in the, the
safety of understanding what and who

you are in this place of, of the, you
know, the love of your being and the

love of creation that allows the mind
to function in its true, true capacity.

Audree: And the reason why it's the last
step in an evolutionary process- … in

a shift of consciousness in wh- why,
uh, whatever reasons that you're here

for, health and vitality, to improve
your life, to shift your reality,

whatever it is- … the mind is last,
and the reason why it is last is because

there's a, there's a physiological
and an energetic change going on.

And, like, the thing that people talk
about is rewiring the brain, and what's

happening is that your neurotransmitters
that are, that are running this, that

your mind runs on- … it's like,
it's v- it's very, very physical.

It's energetic and physical,
but it's really physical.

Michael: Yeah, I, I mean, if you,
if you've studied on anything

with, you know, um- Mm-hmm

how the brain works, you understand
that there are neurons, there, there,

there is electrical channels flowing
through the, the neurons, they're a-

activating synapses that are connected
to other neurons, then there's a chemical

exchange that, um, that creates a signal
that activates the, the other neurons.

And when neurons get a certain level of
activation, then they fire based on all

the other neurons they're connected to.

So it's a very, very physical process.

And, and what happens is our brains are
used to that, "Oh, you know, I'm gonna,

I'm gonna fire, you know, 20 times
today," or, "I'm gonna fire 50,000 times

today," whatever the neuron's used to.

And so it's in this deeply gr- you know,
y- it's like, "Okay, I'm ready to go.

I'm ready to go," like, uh, you know, in
the destructive behavior patterns that

we have, and we're all primed for that.

Our whole physiology is primed
for these destructive thoughts

and destructive behavior patterns.

And then when we're starting
to use awareness, that's what

we're up against dissolving.

That's why it's, you know, as
we're discovering at this stage of

the journey, it's a very physical
process of, of there, the- Oh,

Audree: you get bad headaches and-

Michael: Oh, yeah.

It's, it's- … need

Audree: more

Michael: sleep and- It needs to get
accustomed to the The whatever's

going on, the physiology of it.

But then, but then there's this other
aspect of it is that, you know, we're

also a, a collective consciousness.

You know, our brain is a receiver
transmitter, and we're actually connected

into the c- the collective intelligence
of humanity, which right now is, is

as you may have noticed, is a bit of
a shit show, or a lot of a shit show.

And so what's happening is that there's
a, that while we're purifying within

our own, own physiology, there's also
this, um, like this pull- An ocean

this pull, yeah, this
pull towards- An ocean

Audree: of shit that we're swimming in.

Michael: Yeah.

There's a pull towards that,
'cause that's what we're in.

And so, you know, that, that makes it,
especially f- you know, where we are,

you know- And we're com- … blazing the
trail makes it, makes it, makes it, you

know, chall- gives it challenging moments.

Audree: And we're completely oblivious.

Like, there is no teaching in school
about your energy body, about the

energetic environment that you're in,
about the where thoughts actually exist.

They don't exist in your mind.

Your mind is just receiving them
based on the neurotransmitters,

like a radio, you know.

And we have these, you've heard these…

If, if you're here, you've heard these
concepts before from other teachers.

We're not saying anything new here.

But what we're saying is because of
how our body, which is an organic

computer, is created, and how our
system actually truly functions,

is that the mind has to go last.

So thinking you're gonna go to a retreat
and sit for 10 days and shut your

mind off, while it can happen, trust
me, you, you can shut your mind off.

You can get deeksha.

I mean, we used to get deeksha at Oneness.

Uh, hands on, on top of your head,
an, an energetic transmission

that shuts your mind off, that
actually rewires your brain.

It takes a high vibrational
frequency and intentional

things to happen, techniques
to rewire your brain.

And even, you know, they've,
they've done CAT scans on

meditators, like monks who meditate.

You know, they're in-- They have
been working 20 years, 40 years.

They've been living in specific
environments, and they've been

doing specific techniques that
enable the brain changes to happen.

But I'm pretty much guaranteed if I go
to an ashram right now and talk to a

monk, they're gonna say, "Oh, yes, that
was the last thing to shift and change."

Maybe not understanding why.

Maybe saying, "Oh, I did
meditation for 40 years

And it took a lot for those
brain changes to, to occur So

Michael: I, yeah, I, so I, I'm not,
not sure where, what, what, I mean,

we haven't done actual research on

Audree: No, that's what I'm saying.

I'm saying- Like,

Michael: I, I'm

Audree: reminded- … I'm

Michael: pretty sure if I went-
I, I, I, I, I, I'm not so sure.

I, I'll give you at least, you
know, I remember the, um- I

Audree: don't think they know

Michael: I remember, uh, you know, our,
our teachers at Oneness told us the one

story about this, uh, you know, this one,
this one guy who was just at total bliss

and peace in his cave, and then, uh, I
know then something came in, and then

he got really upset about it Yeah Right?

Right.

And, uh, which, which showed what
state he was actually in, right?

And so, um, you know, I think a lot
of what's been happening in various

different practices and traditions
is about cultivating this sense

of peace and stability, but it's
not for operating in the world.

It's not for actually-

Audree: Right.

That's what our work is.

It- It's for operating in the
world, and we've talked about this.

Right.

So- How somebody in a retreat said,
"How do I take this to my workplace?"

Right.

Or, "How do I keep this in
my, in my family environment?"

And the teacher never had a-

Michael: Yeah.

So, so what, what, I was going
some- there somewhere important.

I don't know if I can get it back now.

Um, but there's something fundamentally
different because when we're going

into those kinds of environments
and getting that kind of peace,

we're not addressing the root cause.

We're not doing the purification
of all the triangles, of all the

distortions, all the choices within
our field that are keeping us

tuned to low vibrational frequency.

So while the techniques can give
a respite- Mm-hmm … and, uh,

um, it's not a permanent thing.

It's like a, it's like a, we need
all that scaff- like that's what,

that's what I'm seeing right now.

I'm seeing that, that those
were meant for the deviation.

That was the scaffolding to s- survive-

Audree: Right

… Michael: and hold a higher
frequency to support the, um, and

kinda keep the flame alive while
we're going through the deviation.

But those techniques are not for
this time because they don't help

people address the root cause.

Right.

And so that's why I really, uh- We're

Audree: in the time of purification.

Michael: Yeah, so while those may
have some effect of, of, of sh- doing

this switch of the mind, that's not,
that's not what we're talking about

Audree: here.

Well, that's not what I s-
yeah, that's not what I said.

Well, you,

Michael: you said, you said
that if you asked them, that'd

be the last time you go.

So it implied there
was some sort of, um…

Anyway, I just wanted to really just
make a differentiation of what's

happening and, and what's going on, and
I think that's what's very different

about our work, is that it- it's really
just very much focused on, look, the

truth of who you are, the purity of
your being, the peace you're looking

for, everything is right there.

It's just covered with layers of, of,
of, you know, of, of triangles, of

wounding, of, of choice points that,
that require undoing because we're

the ones who did it to ourselves.

That's why it's our journey of
self-mastery to- first learn how to live

an evolutionary life and then, and then
fi- finally master an evolutionary life

I spoke

Audree: it.

Choice Point Productions.

Do you remember?

Did I ever tell you that?

Michael: Oh, that was
another-- That was the name?

Audree: That was the name
of the production company.

Michael: Yeah.

That's such a good name.

Audree: Because when you ma- when
you're at that, that choice point,

even timelines shift, everything shifts

Ja

Michael: Hmm.

Audree: You know, in the early '90s
when I started, I guess I, I started

awakening and started my journey, and
I was just searching for ways to stop

sabotaging myself so I'd be successful.

And I was in so much pain
and so much suffering

I don't know where I was going with this

Michael: I was gonna make the

Audree: The mind shuts off?

Michael: The comical remark of, "Well,
that's where we got to yesterday."

Audree: What?

Michael: Getting through our sabotage.

Audree: Layers, honey

Michael: Layers

Audree: Layers

It's funny how there's all these
people that are getting dementia

and Alzheimer's, and they're ending
their lives with no recollection

of who they were, their families.

And I know this is gonna sound a little
crass to people who are experiencing

their loved ones in these states.

It's actually a beautiful state to be in.

If you think about it, your
family member, your loved one, all

their pain and suffering is gone.

Like, they don't remember the past.

And you might think, "Oh my God.

Well, they don't remember their family.

They don't remember the good time.

They don't remember they love me."

You know, I'm gonna say something here.

I- isn't that about you?

Oh, they don't remember my children.

Isn't that about you?

Like when my mom had
dementia, she didn't remember.

And I was like, oh my God, she
doesn't remember all the abuse

of her childhood, all the pain
and suffering, all that wounding.

It was gone

And her mind was free.

Because what happens is that the mind
is going into the past and, and going

through trauma after trauma after trauma,
or creating trauma or self-hatred or

punishment or unworthiness, or it's going
into the future in worry, fear, anxiety.

How am I gonna survive?

You know, when it stops all that,
that's why there's like, "Oh, be

in the present moment," you know,
which nobody knows how to be in

You know, you're not going into
the past and, and reliving it, or

telling a story, or creating harm
for yourself, and you're not going

into the future trying to survive.

You're just in the present moment.

Michael: Well, so that actually ties
in with what we're talking about here.

Audree: Mm-hmm.

Michael: Because when you let go of
the model, of the mind trying to have

a model in its head and trying to use
that, and just listen to creation,

then you are in the present moment.

So there, there's no way the mind can
be in the present moment because the

mind is in its model of the mind trying
to create a model of reality that it

can navigate from to keep itself safe.

And-

Audree: Well, even when you have a
mystical experience, like you're having

this experience, and the mind shut
off, and you're having this feeling

or sensation or this energetic thing
happening, and then all of a sudden

the mind comes in and starts saying,
"Oh, I'm seeing the color, you know,

neon pink in my head," or, you know,
"Jesus is standing here talking to

me," or, or, or, you know, making up a
story trying to define the experience.

Mm.

And that's when you know immediately
you're out of the experience.

Michael: You know what I, else I got?

Audree: What?

Michael: We have this beautiful
ladder of moving towards … You

know, the, the old version was, uh-

Audree: The results ladder?

Michael: Well, first we have a, we
have a, a, a, like a knowledge or

understanding, correct knowledge.

Audree: Mm-hmm.

Michael: And then we move
to, uh, an experience.

Oh, that ladder.

Or we take action t- Mm-hmm … or
we, you know- You don't have

the belief … explore it.

Right.

And then we, and then, then it
becomes our reality over time.

Audree: Mm-hmm.

Michael: And what I, what I got
was that the, the kind of the

middle step, it's really about-

Well, we have this thing about
knowledge having the word "no" in it.

No.

And so, like, you know, it's
wh- whatever we say yes.

So what we're saying yes to is we're
saying yes to direct experience.

We're saying yes to the
truth in my experience.

And I think, you know, that,
that ties in with this larger…

You know, we're, we're talking about
this whole process of, of, of finding

that, that love, that peace, that
stillness within that allows us to

give the mind the safety it needs so
it can let go and serve its purpose.

Let me finish.

And then what I'm, what
I'm feeling right now is

Oh, my mind's shutting off.

This is interesting.

It's, it's we're letting, letting go.

We're l- we're, we're
using the direct experience

And so, you know, we're saying
trust the process, really trust, in

a way trust the direct experience

And what we're doing when we trust
the direct experience is we're

transcending the structures of the mind

We're moving beyond them

And when we keep on saying yes to
trusting the direct experience,

the truth in our experience

When we do that often enough in, through
the process through the evolutionary

journey with the correct knowledge
of navigating this path, this maze,

this puzzle game, this escape room

When we say yes to that direct experience

That creates the unlock

For the peace, for the knowing, for the
beingness, the love of our being that,

that allows the mind to, to let go.

And it's done piecewise 'cause
every time we say yes to our direct

experience instead of saying yes to
the thought, instead of saying yes to

the knowledge, instead of saying yes
to the thinking, and saying yes to the

model, saying yes to the blue square,
green triangle, I mean, we're, we're

transcending, for those who know our
work, blue squares and green triangles.

That's what we're speaking about.

We're speaking about not having a blue
square and not having a green triangle,

which is in the mind, but having
just direct experience in beingness

Yeah, I spoken

Audree: You're so cute

I was thinking about what you
just said, for those who know

our work It's fascinating

Because I remember being in the
Certified Agile Leadership training

in Chicago, the first class that
I, I got to observe you teaching

And I-- it was with the culture
model, the Sahota culture model

And I saw, you know, you
had structure on the bottom.

Did you have-- Did it say consciousness?

Yeah.

It did say consciousness because
it, on the top was the identity of

the people- Mm-hmm … and how they
function, how they behave, what

their perceptions are, how they think

And then I watched you teach
the Navigating Complexity,

the, the complexity model

And I'm like, "You cannot show up as an
agile leader in a, in these new ways of

functioning in a business environment
without a shift in consciousness."

And I said, "Holy shit,
you're teaching consciousness

And it was like the agile mindset

The Agile Manifesto is actually
pointing to a shift in consciousness.

Evolutionary f- ways of functioning,
behaving, perception cannot happen

until there is a shift in consciousness.

And a shift in consciousness
is not just psychological, it's

physical and it's energetic.

And that's what we started addressing
all of those three aspects and we

started baking it into our training.

Michael: Hmm.

Audree: That's why our training
was so profound and powerful

Because we're baking in a
shift of, of consciousness.

We're using technologies- Oh … to
shift consciousness in our training.

Michael: You know what else we're doing?

Audree: What?

Michael: We're pointing and
giving instructions for people

to use direct experience.

Audree: Mm-hmm.

Yes, we were.

Michael: We say, "Run the experiment."

Audree: Yeah.

Michael: Use this thing, see how it works.

Run the anti-pattern that we say is not
causing destruction, see how that works.

Mm-hmm.

And be aware.

And so we're activating their direct
experience of reality to have them

transcend the limiting models-

Audree: Mm-hmm

Michael: that they were attached to.

Audree: Yeah.

Michael: Wow, I'm just getting that now.

Audree: I know.

You know what else I'm getting
right now is that- What?

… I wanna send this out to
all of our past students.

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Audree: Although, I don-
I think we dumped that-

Michael: I can, I can resurrect the list-
… that list … if we need to, yeah

Audree: First of all

Because we kind of, we
can explain the work

And also the upgrade, the evolution that
we turn the certified agile leadership

training into the leading evolutionary
organizations, and we actually solidified

the teaching, and we upgraded it.

Yeah.

And so people that took our training
all, all those years back then

can retake the training- Mm-hmm

now because it's so much better.

But I also want them to
listen to this podcast.

Michael: Or maybe an excerpt.

Audree: Huh?

Michael: Maybe an excerpt.

Audree: Oh, no, the whole thing.

Michael: Hmm.

Very good.

Audree: Yeah.

I just got that.

Michael: Yeah.

Audree: I miss doing those trainings.

Yeah.

They were so valuable

Michael: Teach a class, take a class

Audree: Exactly

Michael: Mm

Audree: Is it time to go?

Michael: It's time

Audree: Farewell, adieu, auf

Michael: Wiedersehen,

Audree: goodbye.

Michael: Wow.

So I feel like, like all these threads
are just kinda, are just coming together

And it's, it's interesting 'cause it's,
it's all been there from the start.

Audree: Yeah.

Always.

Michael: All right, let's
close with three minutes

Audree: Wait, before I think- Oh, you

Michael: got a closing?

Audree: I think we need--
wanna just sum it up.

Michael: Oh.

Audree: If you can just sum up everything
in one sentence, what would you say?

Michael: Hmm.

Trust direct experience

Keep following the thread.

It'll create the stability in your system

that allow the mind to let go of trying
to create certainty and wreak havoc

through that process

Audree: I think for me,
the, the thing is, is that

all life experiences, whatever
situation you're in, your family life,

your social life, your workplace life

All of that is complexity.

There's no…

I mean, while there, there could
be the, the right answer over here-

Michael: Right.

How do I make this person happy?

It's like, well, h- h- that's the
impossible question right there.

How

Audree: do I make my team do things?

Michael: Yeah.

Audree: You know, all, all these, all the
situations that you're in, and, and we

talk about that with the, the grounding
technique, I won't call it a meditation

anymore, is that, that l- life is chaos.

But when you're, you're in the center
of the tornado, that's the calm.

You're not reactive about drama.

You're not reactive about trying to
survive or keep your job or, you know, the

delivery date, and you can't get people
to do things, or your kids are, you know,

wild and crazy and you can't get control.

Like, we're always trying to search
for control, and the, the command

and control behaviors of the past

no longer work.

And that is a good thing.

We have to find new solutions

And, you know, we used to say, "You're
the problem and you're the solution."

We don't say that anymore, of course It's

Michael: still there.

It's just, it's just softened

Audree: Yeah, because it's still true

Michael: Yeah

Audree: It's … The, the answers are
there, and the solutions are all there

Michael: Mm

Audree: When you can, when you can be calm

Michael: The mind is the answer
and the mind is the solution.

Audree: It's true, 'cause
the mind never goes away.

That's the whole thing.

The m- the mind is a necessary
component in the b- uh, within

the mechanics of creation.

We have a mind for a reason.

It's just needs to stop its
nonsense or what it's been

doing, grasping, grasping for air

Michael: Very good

Are you complete?

Audree: Are you?

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Yes.

Yeah.

Audree: Mm-hmm.

Michael: All right,
let's take three minutes

Thank you for joining us.

Let's be evolutionary

I was born with mystical gifts I learned to hide from a world that wasn't ready, the weird kid teaching Samadhi at slumber parties while trying to make sense of being different. Almost a decade in formal healing training, a graduate of the Barbara Brennan Collage of Healing. Five years on a Chicago medical team, healing what Western medicine couldn't touch. In 2009 I received Evolutionary Energetics, yet discovering it and embodying it are completely different. I've done the messy work: dissolved my ego, healed my deepest patterns, trusted guidance I couldn't see when everything rational screamed not to. I'm not a guru with all the answers. I'm a real person who happened to be born remembering cosmic truth, walked the uncomfortable path of living it, and learned how to make it practical.

Raised with logic and science, I started as the ultimate skeptic. In my AI PhD program, I discovered that human vision and cognition is controlled hallucination; we literally make up reality. After years in software architecture and management roles leading organizational transformations, the pattern became clear: the consciousness of the leader creates culture, culture creates outcomes. I hit the truth: I was the limiting factor in every change initiative. Meeting Audree transformed everything as our opposite approaches unlocked something extraordinary. Through 100+ leadership trainings, we didn't create this work, we received it, download by download, in an unfolding evolutionary process. I've done the messy work: learned to trust direct experience over logic, followed guidance that made no rational sense. I'm not a guru with all the answers. My passion is the mechanics of creation. I'm the bridge between worlds, translating cosmic downloads into step-by-step practical tools.
