Stop Resisting the Movie of Your Life
Michael: Welcome to our living room Dun,
Audree: dun, dun.
Although it doesn't feel
like that kind of a day.
Michael: Feels more like we're
in the spaceship right now
Things are just traveling very fast
Audree: For me, it feels
like it's quiet in space
Ground Control to Major Tom
What just came up for me right now,
so we had somebody contact us to
You know, like an agent
to, for somebody to
Beer
I guessed a mother and daughter
Michael: It was actually
the daughter reaching out.
Audree: Was it the daughter?
Michael: I know.
It, this was, I thought Iâ¦
The, the communication was so weird.
I'm at representing on behalf
of, and I'm like, like, what?
Like, but you're the pers- Like,
it, it just didn't make any sense.
It wasn't even like, I don't
know whether an AI wrote it or
something, or like it was weird.
Audree: Oh, I didn't even catch that.
I just thought it was an agent.
No,
Michael: no, no.
I looked at who the, it was coming from.
I,
Audree: or- 'Cause you
can pay people to, to-
Michael: No, no.
It's actually the people themself, but
it's actually the- Oh ⦠it, itâ¦
But it was just like, like I, I
thought like this is such an alien
way of communicating and very strange.
And obviously theyâ¦
Anyway, go on.
Audree: Well, and then I wasâ¦
And then they quoted, they quoted
something that you said i- on the podcast.
Mm-hmm.
And I was like, did they actually,
do they listen to the podcast?
Are they fans of the podcast?
I mean, that would kind of be
cool to say, "Hey, I love your
podcast, and I've been doing this
thing, and I'd love to come on-"
But I mean, the va- the value, the value
for somebody coming on the podcast would
be for them to talk about their work.
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: That's what I was thinking,
and I was like, "But their
work is so different than ours.
It's not the same
Michael: and-" It doesn't even make sense.
So this means they haven't really
actually listened to the podcast.
Audree: Well, here's ⦠No,
here's the other thing.
The other thing is-
Michael: Couldn't get it
⦠Audree: we have our own work, that we
have a podcast so people could know
who we are and understand our work.
Why would we wanna promote somebody else?
Michael: No, we'd wanna have, like,
our students who are talking about how
they're applying the work or something
like that or- Yeah, yeah ⦠I mean, like
it, it's like it doesn't make any sense.
I mean-
Audree: Yeah.
Anyways, so I was like, but ⦠And then
all of a sudden, I just had this thought
because of the conversation that we've
been having today about the movies and
how it relates to our, our, our journey.
And I was like, "Oh, if I was ever to have
a, a, like, a guest on, on our podcast,
it would totally be John Mark Stroud."
And I wouldn't care if
he promoted his work.
It was like all of a sudden it
was, like, a totally different-
Michael: Oh.
Audree: Yeah.
Totally different thing.
Michael: That'd be an
interesting conversation
Audree: I love him so much
Michael: Yeah
Audree: Like, like when I think
about him, my heart just expands
open and I have so much joy.
I wonder- Mm ⦠he just
holds that much joy, huh?
Michael: Mm-hmm
Audree: If anybody doesn't know, John
Mark Stroud does, uh, Waking Up to
the Movies, not to be confused with
other people that have copied him.
And then he's got some other
stuff, Beyond Belief into Presence.
I guess I'm promoting
him right now happily.
Michael: Mm.
Audree: He's the real deal
Anyways, what did you
wanna have a podcast about?
Michael: Oh, well, just to finish off on,
you know, if a- anyone actually, actually
truly listened, they'd understand that
we're talking about a work that's very,
very different from anything else, right?
And then, so it's like, like, uh, you
know, or even looked at our website or,
well, like it just, it doesn't any, it
Audree: just- That's what I think-
I think, I felt like she, they,
or she or whate- whoever it is
grabbed a, a, a bite or a clip.
Michael: Well, the transcripts are
there, so someone can just use an AI
search- Maybe that's what, yeah ⦠to
find out who's- Mm-hmm ⦠talking
about these terms in their podcast
and let me be a guest speaker.
Yeah.
But they didn't even look 'cause we
never had a guest speaker before,
so it's like, it's like even, it
doesn't even make sense, right?
It
Audree: doesn't hurt to try.
Michael: Like, I think the, the, the
podcasts that are really, really good
are the people who are just curious
about a topic and interview people,
but they don't have their own teaching,
they don't have their own stuff.
Otherwise, every ⦠'Cause I've
done podcasts with people before, and
when people have their own kinda deal
that they're trying to, you know,
promote, it, it, it isn't clean.
Audree: It's never clean.
Yeah, it's like- And we've
been on those podcasts.
Michael: Well, it, it is if
the people are just curious.
Like that, um, whatever
that guy in the UK is.
Rich kid.
Yeah.
Audree: Human.
Being human.
Michael: Mm-hmm.
He's just genuinely curious.
Audree: He doesn't have his own teaching.
He
Michael: doesn't have his own teaching.
He's just genuinely cur- That's why.
Exactly, that's what I'm saying.
Those are the
Audree: clean podcasts.
He doesn't have an agenda to ⦠I,
I mean, he's got his own company
and, and he does, he does conscious
business practices or something, but-
Michael: But it's not about that.
It's just- But
Audree: it is not about that.
Michael: Yeah, it's like-
Yeah ⦠independent enough
that it's not, not about that.
He's just doing it because of
his passion for the subject.
Audree: But we've been on other
podcasts where, yeah, then they just
start talking and they start promoting
their work, and it's like, "Oh, okay."
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: I mean, I get it.
We were talking about survival mode
this morning and that it's just
people are just trying to survive.
Like-
Michael: Oh, that's the,
that's the connection
⦠Audree: it's a shit show out there.
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: Like, it truly, truly is.
So you were watching The Martian.
That's where the conversation started.
Michael: Yeah, so I was
watching The Martian ⦠Well,
'cause, you know, there's-
That's interesting
Audree: So folks, if you haven't
noticed this already, um,
there's great wisdom in movies.
And that's what John Mark Stroud
started doing is he started doing,
uh, in his living room he would
show a movie with a group of people.
He'd invite a group of people for free.
Michael: Well, he s- he did
it first with his guides.
Audree: Yeah.
Michael: For, you know, we
watched, you know, over, over-
Audree: That's how he, he did his
awakening and his evolution of
consciousness, his shift of consciousness.
He did a lot of ⦠I, I wouldn't say he
just did that 'cause he did go to India.
Yeah.
And then I think during that
time he was with his, his
guy ⦠Actually, Jesus showed up.
Yeah.
And said ⦠And he's like, "I need help.
I want more," something like that and,
and Jesus said, "Okay, let's watch movies.
We'll watch a movie and s- I'll have you
stop the movie and then we'll explore
what's coming up for you or we'll explore
the metaphors within the movie as it
relates to, uh, a journey of evolution,
of shifting consciousness-" Yeah
and healing and transformation."
That's how he did it.
So then he did that with other people in
his living room and, and just ⦠He's
just a really, really beautiful,
beautiful man and his wife and,
um ⦠And so somebody from Oneness,
actually my friend, turned me on.
She's like, "Hey, did
you ever see this guy?"
'Cause what he would do is
record the movies and he'd do
While he was with other people in the
room doing this he would also record
it and then post it on a website.
And, um, and so he holds a very powerful
transmission of a shift in consciousness.
And so you can not only
receive that from him-
Uh, you can also, the movies will
actually trigger an experience- Mm-hmm
and, uh, and accelerate your journey.
What, what, what- So we do that a lot.
Michael: Yeah On our- So what's the health
and safety advisory, just to clarify?
I'm a, kind of a stickler for that.
Audree: What, what health
and safety advisory?
Michael: Well, just to clarify, um,
the health and safety advisory we have,
'cause it, this was on our recommended
list for our students for many years,
and then it, it moved to the recommended
with a watch condition, which is to
understand that, that, that, that what
he's sharing is a partial solution
for during the deviation time, right?
Mm-hmm.
And so that the, the, the, the journey,
the teaching that, that is here goes
beyond that and has v- I, I remember the,
I was watching one when I was waking up to
the movies, and I was realizing, "What?"
Like, "What is he saying?
That's not quite right."
I remember this, this is like
a, about a year ago, and I'm
like, "Oh, wait a second.
We're being brought into a level
of, um, purity and clarification,
refinement that transcendsâ¦"
Um, and, and so that, that's what, that's
what my watch condition is, so that's why.
Audree: Here's, here, h- okay.
So here's the difference.
So, um, first of all, hi- his
consciousness, his state of, John Mark
Stroud's state of consciousness is really,
really high if, like, and p- and pure.
He's like a super pure soul.
What he was recording, The
One Who Wakes, those are old.
Those are before, like, 2016.
Mm-hmm.
So you have to understand his
journey has been far beyond that.
Yeah.
And what we do here is that, so
in the deviation, 'cause I, I
kind of have been writing about
this in Evolutionary Energetics.
So during the deviation, there was
always these teachings of a shift
in consciousness- ⦠or methods of
awakening or enlightenment practices or
ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, all these teachings.
They never came with how to apply it
in your daily life, and it's, so you
would go to the ashram or you'd s- go
to a retreat or you'd sit on the yoga
mat and you'd attain this certain state
of consciousness, but then you would
walk out and go into the real world
and you couldn't, it wasn't permanent
and you didn't know how to apply the,
the state of consciousness to your life
and how to use your life to wake up.
Mm.
So you're in this constant
state of evolutionary journey.
That's what our work is.
Michael: Right.
So, so l-
Audree: And our work was created for
how to exist outside the deviation,
how to pull yourself out of that loop
in consciousness and move forward on
the evolutionary journey into the,
um, fifth dimensional frequencies,
the sixth dimensional frequencies.
It looks like it's
moving forward from that.
So it's a very different, it's a very,
very different teaching than anybody
else that's been on this planet- I know.
What we're, we're
being- ⦠as far as we know
⦠Michael: yeah, what we're being
through by the she, I'm like, what?
What?
What?
Like, I mean, it's just so different from
anything that I've ever heard about any
other tradition or any other teaching-
Audree: Yeah
Michael: ever before.
Audree: It is.
Michael: Like, and I'm just like-
It's very, very different ⦠and the
level of like precision refinement of
like these, like, you know, something
can just be off by like 1%, 2%, 3%.
But if you think about a r- you're
launching a rocket ship to the moon,
if you're off by 1%- 1% ⦠you're
not gonna make it to the moon.
Like, you're just not.
I mean, like, that's the level of
precision of this journey, right?
I mean, like, n- there's no
room for a 1% error when you're,
when y- when lives are at stake.
I mean, you can call it that.
Your life is at stake.
I mean, you know.
Anyway.
Audree: Not really.
Michael: Not really.
Everything's fine.
You're safe.
Everything's perfect, actually.
Fun fact.
So, um-
Audree: Because you're already that.
There is
Michael: no- I know.
That's, that's kind of the big joke
Audree: There's no
Michael: journey.
It's just you don't know you are,
and then it's like, you know, right?
It's, it's like the whole, uh-
So- That, that's actually what I
was experiencing this morning, is
the whole, um, what's that movie?
Over the Rainbow.
What's it called?
Wizard
Audree: of Oz.
Michael: Wizard of Oz.
And it's like, oh.
Well, so, so the whole joke, and this
is kinda what I got to this morning.
I wa- was watching The Martian.
I'm not gonna go into why I was
watching it, but I was watching it.
That was f- felt like
the correct thing to do.
And then I'm, you know, waking up
at like, you know, I don't know.
I don't know what time it was.
I didn't, don't have a clock anywhere
near me, but it felt like at around
at 2:00 or 3:00 or something like
that, 'cause it was still dark.
And, uh-
Did the, you know, okay, let me work
through this laying down in bed.
Okay, that's not working.
Okay, I gotta get up.
So I get up.
I guess there's someâ¦
And what I realized sitting up
quietly is, like, wait a second.
Mm.
There's a reason for this.
Audree: Yeah.
Michael: It's the thought sphere is
quiet, very, very quiet at 2:00 AM,
3:00 in the morning, and so it's
possible for there to be, like,
precision work that can't happen.
Audree: Yeah.
So just to comment on that-
Michael: So that's the
realization I had in that moment
Audree: when I was in Kundalini teacher
training, that they had us wake up-
Michael: Mm-hmm
⦠Audree: at 2:30 and take a cold
shower and then do our sadhana.
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: That's when we
did it because of that.
Michael: Yeah, so if anyone out
there is waking up in the middle
of the night, you know, buckle up.
If it's been more than 20 minutes,
buckle up, get up, and do the work.
Because it's not, it's not even
like, oh, I gotta do my practice.
It's like opening your consciousness.
All you need to do is say, "Yes,
I'm ready for whatever the next
step is," and your guides will
come in and give you the next step.
I mean, it's literally that easy.
You just have to say yes and just allow,
and sometimes you use the tools and
sometimes you don't, and it's, it'sâ¦
but just be open to whatever's
gonna happen because there's a
reason for that happening, and
it's kinda like a, you know, it's
kinda like the, the train is going.
You can get on it.
It's there.
Or you can just stay
on the platform, right?
Mm-hmm.
I mean, that's really what thatâ¦
It's really an invitation from
your, the truth of what and who
you are to move towards that.
Audree: It's interesting.
So here, it's summer here.
Usually, the time is 3:30, and then
birds start chirping at 4:30 'cause
I woke up, I d- I woke up early too.
Uh-huh.
It was still dark, but the birds were
chirping, so, and then I looked at
the clock, it was 4:30, and I put a,
I put a transformational audio on-
Uh-huh ⦠and then I fell back asleep.
Um, but I wasn't in, I
wasn't triggered or anything.
I was just awake in the night.
Michael: Mm-hmm.
Audree: But it's interesting here,
where we live, we have fishermen
that, so the, it's, it's actually
busy at 3:30 in the morning, and
so waking up earlier before that-
Michael: Yeah, I have no idea
what time it was 'cause I left
my phone downstairs and whatever
I
Audree: know, but I'm just saying if
you woke up at 2:00, it's because of
the f- the- The quiet ⦠fishermen
are up- Mm-hmm ⦠at 3:30.
So 2:00 would be quiet
time- Yeah ⦠here.
Michael: So-
Audree: It's relative to
where you are, people.
That's what I'm trying to say.
Michael: Anyway, so, so, so what I
realized is, oh, wait, it's just very,
very quiet in the thought sphere,
and it's actually, this is here at
this time to, to get, to, to, like,
uh, eh, this realization happened
somewhere through the, the process.
And so what happened- In my consciousness,
we looked at something that, you
know, we've been teaching our probably
our more advanced students or even
earlier, I guess we teach it actually
in the level one course, is how,
you know, push creates resistance.
Mm.
Audree: Mm-hmm.
Michael: Right?
And that, you know, w- really it's
been going into how we're resisting our
experiences, and I was looking at that.
I was looking at like, oh, well, I'm
resisting whatever this kind of so-called
negative experience in my being is, and
then going deeper than I've ever gone
before, and then realizing, wait a second,
the resistance is saying no to creation
The resistance is the no, which
is the separation, is the choice
for separation right here.
And this is the, kind of the, the, the
presenting edge of, of, of separation
is, is a resistance to the experience
that we're having in this exact moment.
So I went so deep in the resistance
into the no, into the separation,
that I expanded in this, this state of
consciousness I've never been in before.
It was really profound.
I'm not gonna try to describe it
'cause it's beyond words, so, um,
but really, really quite profound.
And I go, "Oh, well
wait, that's what it is."
'Cause we're just source
consciousness having the experience.
And, the, the, you know, the joke of the
whole thing is it's our resistance to say,
"No, I don't want to experience this."
It's our no that keeps us having
that experience again, and
again, and again in our life.
And when we just start- What
Audree: you resist must persist.
Michael: Yeah.
And so when, what I got is like,
oh, oh, the way through is you
just, I just stop resisting.
And, you know, of course everyone's
who's ever heard anything about
resistance has tried to stop resisting
and, and it's, it's, it's just, it's
And you know, what I, what can I say?
It's like, you know, this journey that
we've been on with Ashii is like we're
revisiting topics again, and again,
and again at finer and finer layers of
consciousness to finally get to the truth.
And it's not that, you know, whatever
consciousness you're at where you're
looking at this, it's very useful
because you're, 'cause we're building
up that, that, that technology, that
capability within us called awareness,
which is of course the primary mechanism
of evolution, and that's all there is.
And, and that's kinda where it comes
in with, with, with, uh, Dorothy over
the rainbow, Wizard of Oz, is this
realization, well, there's nothing to do.
There's no problem to fix.
There's no situation.
There's nothing to solve for.
I already am that, and I already
am home, and I already am
Have access to all supply.
I, like it's, it's like this knowingness
when that's there in our being.
Well, and it- And we've had
access to it and we remember that.
I don't know if remember's the
right word for this, but we-
Audree: Well, re-member.
You're putting yourself back together.
Michael: Yeah, and, and so it's,
it's almost even more like just
the choice in that moment, right?
'Cause our incarnation is making a
choice of what it wants to experience,
making the choice to experience the
truth of what and who I am rather
than the choice to experience
this, the struggle, the challenge.
And then I saw this like deeply, deeply
addicted pattern and like these deep
neural, you know, tr- transmitters
of like, you know, oh my God.
And I saw all of life as just like,
okay, problem, how do I solve it?
Problem, how do I solve it?
And that's what we've been
doing our whole lives.
Situation, how do I solve it?
Situation, how do I solve it, right?
And that loop is actually the lock
that the mind is trapped in that
prevents it from actually just stopping
and recognizing what and who we are.
Audree: I was giving a moment of pause
for it to sink in before I said something.
So in the beginning of The Wizard of
Oz, Dorothy is in resistance to her life
Michael: Right, and she
tries to run away and stuff.
Audree: Mm-hmm.
Michael: Mm-hmm.
Audree: Yeah
Um
Michael: Instead of having gratitude
Audree: Yeah.
Yeah So does she talk about gratitude?
What, what reminds me of resistance, like
even Surrender Dorothy, it's you as source
ending the er or just ending the er.
Yeah Surrender is end the er.
And the er is the resistance.
And when you end the resistance,
there's this aspect of you
Like I, I just had this image of being in
no gravity where everything just lets go
And does she talk about gratitude?
And gratitude being a mechanism of
Uh, or like a principle or a law
of the universe where when you
have gratitude for the situation
And that becomes difficult 'cause
as humans, we're taught to resist or
change what's bad or negative or what we
perceive as, you know, we judge things
The word gravity exists in the word
gratitude and that's when they had
gave us the teaching on gratitude.
Michael: Yeah, and so
It's actually been, like since our last
podcast, which was I think several days
ago, it's really been just profound.
And we're in this 30-day training program
Audree: What does she?
Michael: Mm-hmm.
And
Audree: So that was, so this is really- I
Michael: mean, everything's
changed since the last podcast.
I mean, like I don't
even know how to start.
I mean, like ⦠I, I
⦠Audree: There's nowhere to start.
It just, because we're just where we are.
It's our ⦠We're, we're just talking
about our own personal journey through
an evolution of consciousness and what
that feels like or what we experience.
So I wanted to say a couple things.
One is that
Like our journey right now in this moment
feels like we're explorers in space, and
we, we kinda don't know where we're going.
There's no agenda.
Lost in space.
Well, isn't that interesting how the
Right?
The TV show is so brainwashing that it
feels uncomfortable to be lost in space.
It feels uncomfortable not to have
a goal or be achieving something
or, you know, be, be driven on a
certain path because there's cert- a
certain path 'cause there's certainty.
Oh.
You're held in a structure,
so it feels safe.
Michael: Yeah, you know
what this reminds me of?
Mm.
So when people go to a, a new town
or a new city to explore, or an area.
Mm-hmm.
And the people who have the plan, I
gotta go here, and I go here, and I go,
and I gotta ⦠You know, the route and-
Audree: Like you and your family
⦠Michael: and, uh-
Audree: Have a, you have an itinerary
Michael: and, uh, and then- A very
extensive one, by the way ⦠and
then, and then there, there's people
who, well, you know, I'm just gonna
go there, and I'm gonna wander around.
Mm-hmm.
I'm gonna ex- go down streets
that I don't- Remember
Audree: when we first met?
Michael: Mm.
Audree: And you were
like, "I can't do that."
Michael: What are you talking about?
Audree: And I was like, "How,
how else do you ex- how do, how
else do you discover things?"
Michael: How, how else do you
go beyond what you know, right?
Audree: Yeah.
Right,
Michael: right, right.
Audree: And I ended up ha- uh, like,
I told you the story about how I was
in New York City wandering around.
Mm.
And I walked into the armory and
saw this- Yeah ⦠the Manifesto art
exhibit with, uh, uh, Cate Blanchett.
Mm-hmm.
It was, like, the most profound exhibit
ever, and I think it was more profound
because it was a pure discovery.
I had no idea what it was.
Mm-hmm.
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: I was mesmerized in that moment.
Michael: Right, and so, so there
are these ideas of serendipity and-
Audree: Mm-hmm
⦠Michael: and, and I think, you
know, what this whole kind of
arc is about is really about-
that is really just starting to be
aware of the, the desire for control,
the need for control, the, it, it,
and it's even on a m- Where are
Audree: you and what have you done with
Michael: my husband?
It's, it's even on a micro level.
Should I do this?
Should I do that?
Like micro, micro level, right?
And you can start to see, oh, wait a
second, the mind is constantly thrashing
in problem-solving mode, right?
Of this or that, left or
right, do this, don't do this.
Audree: Trying to figure out
how to get back in the ocean,
like a fish thrashing around.
Michael: And, uh, and, and I think
the whole point here is that when
you look at that, it's just endless.
And that is the survival, that is the
struggle, that is the, the thinking
that we're separate and we have to
figure it out ourselves ultimately
And I, I think, you know, it's not
about, like, trying to get there or
figure it out, because it's really
this, this profound, profound journey.
I mean, we've-- There, there's the-- We
like, you know, this is only possible
because there's been this, the last
few days, this profound shift in our
inner state of being, of establishing
an, like this, this soul inception
crystal, a very profound state.
The, uh, the coming home.
Audree: Mm-hmm.
Michael: understanding the mechanism,
mechanics of manifestation, and it's
not what anyone's ever thought it was
Maybe other than a gross level of
yes, your frequency determines what
you create or what you experience.
And so
Audree: Oh, you know what I just got?
It's like an algorithm.
Like on, on YouTube or whatever, the,
the AI is like whatever you click on
or like- Mm-hmm ⦠you get more of.
And, you know, the universe works exactly
like artificial intelligence in a way
Whatever frequency you're hitting
repeatedly, choosing, you get more of
Michael: Well, it, it even gets back
to this, like, really weird thing
of, like, well, I, I chose to watch
The Martian, which turned out to be
this, you know, which I didn't want,
wasn't gonna watch the whole thing,
'cause we're gonna run too late.
But I ended right in this kind of
really suspenseful survival moment.
And I'm like, you know, in the
middle of the night thinking, "Oh,
my God, why did I choose to do that?"
I thought, "Well, maybe that was actually
the perfect thing to do so I could be in
this moment now to have this awakening,
which is profound, and- Yeah ⦠have
this new realization, new understanding."
So, like, you know, uh, w- w- we,
what the mind's trying to figure
out, okay, well, maybe I shouldn't
be watching these things, 'cause
I'm a transmitter, receiver, and
receiving the low frequency and, like.
But it felt like the correct thing to do.
Like, I'm like, like, and then I go, "Oh,
maybe it was the correct thing to do."
Like, like we're, like, but, uh,
but I'm just watching the whole
process of the mind trying to figure
out, well, was it the right thing?
Wasn't it the right ⦠Like, and just,
like, all the machinery around that.
Like, like w- what are you doing, mind?
Like
Audree: Do you know what I did?
Michael: What?
Audree: I watched The
Lost City of Z yesterday.
Mm-hmm.
And I didn't understand why I
was drawn to even watch this.
And it was just a, it was a true
story and a beautiful m-movie about
an explorer and his experience
Oh, now I'm even thinking, oh, he let
go of his being a family man to go
explore Mm-hmm ⦠which is what I did.
Except I'm not a man, I'm a woman.
But I let go of my family to
explore, to go on this journey.
Michael: To find the lost city of Zed.
They're British, so it was Zed.
Audree: Mm-hmm.
I like Zed.
I like being British.
And
You know, at the end, what's really
fascinating is they end up seeing,
they end up being with a, an indigenous
tribe, and the indigenous tribe
notices that they're different.
And the dad keeps saying
to the son, "Don't resist,"
basically, in, in other words.
"But if it's our destiny to
die right now, we'll die.
If it's not our destiny, we'll stay
alive, so don't be in resistance."
And because of that, the
leader of this indigenous tribe
noticed that they're different.
They weren't in resistance.
Michael: Oh, my God.
Go ahead.
Audree: And they gave them ayahuasca
so their soul can find its home.
That's what they said.
Michael: Mm-hmm.
" Audree: We're gonna find
their soul its home."
Michael: Mm-hmm
What I realize is, you know, there's
a, there's, you know, there's part of
He was participating in World War I.
Mm-hmm.
And, uh, he lost his sight.
He, he regained his sight.
Audree: Yes.
He regained his sight before
he even went to the lost city.
Michael: Yeah.
M- but what I'm, what I'm getting at
is that that was a, a metaphor for
opening up to a different perception.
Audree: Yes.
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: Yeah.
Like, everything he did was different.
But in the beginning, he was
only trying to save face.
Yeah.
Like, he participated in a war that
was earlier war- Uh-huh ⦠where
he didn't get any medals because
his father had disgraced the family.
Michael: Hmm.
Audree: And he was only ⦠And
he went on this journey to- It
Michael: was all
Audree: about-
⦠Michael: map out- ⦠hi- his ego and-
Audree: Yeah ⦠yeah, yeah, yeah.
South America.
He left to, to map out South America
because they said, "You'll be considered
a hero if you do this for our government."
Michael: Right.
Yeah.
Audree: And he was trying to save face.
Mm-hmm.
Right?
Michael: Interesting.
Audree: And along the way on theâ¦
It's a beautiful movie if you watch it
from a, uh, from a open perspective.
Yeah, it's just such a beautiful movie
And I didn't realize
what the ending would be.
I didn't, I thought they were
gonna find a city of gold.
But if you look at alchemy, like all
these people thought alchemists were,
were turning lead into gold, but
they were, they were using it as a
metaphor for transformation, and they
were hiding these esoteric teachings
Because they couldn't.
They would be seen as heretics,
and they would have been killed.
Michael: Well, if you go
back to our topic for today-
Audree: Oh, what is our topic
for t- I don't even know what
Michael: our
Audree: topic
Michael: is ⦠well, about,
about what we're resisting-
Audree: Mm-hmm
⦠Michael: and the resistance
itself- Mm-hmm ⦠is the gold.
Audree: Mm-hmm
Michael: And it's all right there
Audree: And something that has been the
topic of my life right now has been I've
been in resistance to what's occurring,
um- Hmm ⦠externally in our life
Michael: It doesn't feel
comfortable for me Whoa, yeah.
There, there's ⦠I'm feeling it now.
Like, now that you point it out, yeah
Audree: I'm pointing it out 'cause I
had this realization- Wow ⦠while we
were talking this morning before we-
Michael: Uh-huh
⦠Audree: went on the podcast
Michael: Uh-huh
Audree: Um.
Michael: Wow.
Audree: Yeah.
So there's this weird sense,
in fact, a requirement on this
journey to let go of all structure.
All structure
Michael: Which is from the deviation, so
that's why- Yeah ⦠we wanna let go of
it.
We have to let go of the low
frequencies to move to high frequencies
Audree: Yeah.
Just like the solar flares are
dissolving the, the energetic
templates that are on the Earth,
and it doesn't feel comfortable.
There's a, there's a point in, on
the journey where there's no gravity.
There is no gravity
And the tools are, or the journey
before that point happens is to
get comfortable in that state
Even in Hail Mary, do you remember?
Even in Contact where
she was bound by that-
Michael: The chair
⦠Audree: the chair.
The chair fell away.
And the chair had to fall away.
Michael: Right.
You need, you need this
chair for your safety.
It's like, what?
Audree: Right.
But it was designed without a chair.
Michael: It was designed without a
chair, yeah, by a higher intelligence.
And it's like, "Oh, no, no, we,
we, we know what we're doing.
We gotta have a chair in here," right?
Audree: Yeah.
Michael: Yeah.
And then it had to fall away
Yeah
It let it all fall away
Audree: Even the tornado in The
Wizard of Oz lifts the house up
And she's flying around in the tornado
It's a tower moment in the tarot, um
Michael: Huh.
Yeah
Audree: Right.
When you read the tarot, when
the, the Tower comes up, it's this
burning tower, and you see a man and
a woman falling out of the tower.
And it represents a- ⦠destruction
of what came before.
And so many people would view
that as this horrible thing.
We want consistency.
We want sameness.
We want, we want the precision path.
We want the knowable.
Michael: You know what the Tower is?
I just got this.
Audree: What?
Michael: The Tower is you've been
imprisoned in this tower, and now-
Mm ⦠it's burning down around fire,
and you're jumping out into freedom.
Audree: Yeah.
Michael: It's not you're
jumping to your death.
You're ju- jumping into freedom.
Audree: Exactly.
Michael: It's actually a freedom card.
Audree: From, and from another
perspective if you look at it
within the lower consciousness.
Michael: Then it's just death and
destruction- Yeah ⦠and I'm gonna die.
Audree: Yeah.
Michael: And everything in my life that
I love is being torn down and destroyed.
Audree: I mean, that's why our
grounding meditation is so profound
Michael: Everything the, the, the,
you know, the egoic consciousness or
the mind that's addicted to the lower
frequencies loves needs to be destroyed.
Audree: Mm-hmm.
And in the grounding meditation-
Michael: That's why I
love Lord of the Rings.
Lord Elrond goes, "It must be destroyed."
Audree: Mm-hmm.
Michael: That's such a good line.
Audree: And you're the sword of truth.
When you use the grounding meditation, you
go down and you anchor in for stability
into the permanent electromagnetic grids
that are high vibrational frequencies.
They're grid patterns that shift
with the consciousness of the Earth,
which is a higher consciousness.
And all the grids on the surface of
the Earth are being burned away by
the solar flares, 'cause they're old,
they're lower vibrational frequencies.
And so the grounding meditation is a, is
like a construct to hold the mind and the
egoic consciousness so it feels safe, so
you can go on a transformational journey.
Michael: Mm-hmm.
Audree: That's what it's doing.
Michael: And then so, so, so the other
thing that has really been profound in
the last few days of our training program
is the, the, the, the full, the full yes.
Audree: Mm.
Michael: And what I'm realizing
is the mind and the resistance
is the last vestiges of the no.
Audree: Yes.
Michael: Right?
It's the, the no that's been
imprinted, the no of separation.
Because- And if you think about the, all
of separation, separation is just, yeah,
do I wanna go with the flow of creation?
No, I wanna do it my way.
Right?
If y- that's what, that's
kind of what, what I got.
Or, or
Audree: my way is you're in control.
So what happens is, I,
I know what this is.
It's we've done the energy work, yet
the last thing that changes because
it's dense matter's physical form.
Michael: Is the
neurotransmitters in the mind.
Audree: The neurotransmitters must change.
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: Right.
That's the requirement.
And so exploring the no to where is your
yes, and they don't let you go forward.
Like, it's, it's very-
Michael: Well, it's not they.
It's like the mechanics
of creation prevent-
Audree: Yes
⦠Michael: one from moving forward
with the lower frequencies.
Audree: Yeah.
Michael: So it's not
that one has to purify.
It's just that if one wants to
move forward in evolution, then
the purification is required.
Audree: Mm-hmm.
Michael: You have to let go of the
old world to go to the new world
Right.
And so, so that's where I was kind
of really tuning into like, okay,
well, you know, m- m- my mind is just
tuning into the frequency, right?
This is gonna tune ⦠It's just
so a- addicted and habituated, the,
the, the neural pathways on the, the
lower frequencies of, of problem,
struggle, solve, fear, resistance.
And I'm just like, "Uh, okay."
So- And then, and then it, it, it ⦠This
is what the whole thing about awareness
is, and we're just in awareness of it.
We're not trying to change
anything or trying to fix
anything in such a deep awareness.
Audree: So there's another thing, too.
It's that when you begin on this
journey, you're beginning on this
journey for life improvement.
And that is, that is survival
What I got when I was watching The Lost
City of Z is that he shifted Mm-hmm.
His consciousness shifted where he was
no longer looking for name and fame
To support his family for
survival, to find the city
Michael: Well, it wasn't even
about supporting his family.
His family had resources.
It was more about his, his,
his, his glory and his- N-
Audree: no, it-
status Well, in the beginning it was,
it was the m- the egoic mind was- Mm-hmm
⦠saying, telling him, justifying,
"Well, this is to, for your family."
Michael: Yeah, I know.
Audree: You know?
And then the son w- who was
angry at him because he was never
around was saying, "You're just
doing this for name and fame."
Right Like-
Michael: Well, everyone was telling him
that, even the, even that, you know-
Audree: Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm
⦠Michael: aristocrat guy who got kicked
off the mission who said the same thing.
Audree: Yeah, yeah
And at some point everything shifted,
and I remember I was like, it struck me
It, it struck me
And maybe, are you- We're
Michael: recording.
Audree: Oh, okay.
Okay.
Michael: It's fine.
Audree: Oh, yeah.
I was just perfect timing.
It's, it struck me while
I was watching the movie.
It's like I've been ⦠Oh, God.
I went on this journey for survival
Like I remember in the early '90s,
it was about my self-sabotage and
I had to let go of my self-sabotage
because I needed to survive
And that this journey has really
been about how to be successful.
Even going to India was like to stop
blocking myself so I could finish
writing Evolutionary Energetics.
Like, like it's just been this
huge struggle for survival
and not about my heart opening,
not about this state of peace.
And while I, even while
receiving these moments
It's been how to manifest
financial prosperity even now
Even now
And like for you, Michael, there's
been such a purity in your being.
Like you, you have all the
resources for stability.
So you're in it for the, the
experience, for the peace, for the
higher, the higher consciousness
that gives you that state of peace.
Where I'm in that, like I don't
have the, the external resources.
I ha- I've always had the extern-
Well- ⦠the, the internal peace and
the, the comfort in the metaphysical.
Michael: Well-
Audree: It's like we're o-
we're total opposites ⦠no,
Michael: I, I think
you're misperceiving me.
Like I, I'm totally in this.
I'm totally in this for, for
having a extraordinary life.
And, and like w- whatever resource
I have are not gonna give me that.
And so I'm like completely in it for that.
That's ⦠When I feel it.
I'm just- L- l- let me finish.
Let me finish.
Let me finish.
And maybe it's a self-deception, but
that's what it feels like for me.
And I think what's, what y- you
see as purity is actually just this
total clarity of my being that this
complete commitment to the path of
evolution is how to get there, right?
And so it's not that I differ from you
about financial prosperity or, or, or,
you know, a certain life experience.
It's not that I differ
from you about that.
I'm- And
Audree: that's not what I said.
Michael: Well, a- anyway, but so-
Audree: That's not what I
Michael: said ⦠well, that's
a really cool misinterpretation.
But what- Yeah ⦠is going on for
me is just this clarity of like,
well, that there's so much evidence
There's so much beauty
There's so much, like, knowingness
that this is ⦠And, and from
that, that's where this, this
clarity of, of commitment comes.
Audree: So I think what I meant and
what I said might be totally different.
Michael: Got it.
Audree: What I'm saying is, is
that your life experience in
some ways mirrored exactly mine,
yet you've had the financial-
Michael: I've been kind of
held more financially in-
Audree: Oh,
Michael: yes
in security, yeah.
Audree: Yeah.
Michael: My whole life.
Audree: In your tower.
It's been in a prison.
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: Yeah.
Where I haven't had that.
Michael: Yeah.
Audree: And so, so the, the, the
exploration, the ability to explore,
and the purity of your exploration
hasn't been about, uh, survival.
Michael: No, I, so I think
I, I phrase it differently.
Audree: Mm-hmm.
Michael: It has, it's just that
your, you, you, you, your incarnation
does a much, much better job
at, at, like, the survival card.
Like, if I'm a five, you're,
you know, you're, you're-
Audree: A 20.
Michael: Well, you like
to be the overachiever.
Audree: Well, I, I mean, I was adopted.
Michael: There's, we
could go through- So I,
Audree: I mean, there was like- We
could go through your whole history,
like- ⦠a whole history of-
Michael: So th- this is your thing then.
This is-
Audree: Adopted and told, at I was
12 years old, it struck me in the
movie too, "You're an adult now-
Michael: Yeah
Audree: and you have to
fend for yourself," at 12.
Michael: Well, it feel- "Well,
Audree: well, you, you can
live in the house, but you
have to get your own money."
Yeah.
"You have to find a way
to make your own money."
Yeah.
Like, who the fuck does that?
Michael: Yeah.
Well, turns out that was actually,
in terms of for you, that was-
Audree: The perfect thing
Michael: the perfect thing, yes.
Yeah.
So that, that feels like that's
kinda like the, what's presenting
right now, I guess for both of us.
Audree: Exact- exactly.
Is
Michael: seeing all the
resistance, seeing all the-
Audree: That's what I'm
saying ⦠the trying to
Michael: survive.
Wow ⦠that,
Audree: that I just had this- What
Michael: a gift, eh?
Audree: I just had this profound moment
And that's where the, the,
like I let go and I was, and
I've been floating in gravity
Michael: Mm.
Audree: In no gravity
Michael: So
Audree: And it's weird-
Michael: So that's the gift from
me watching the movie right here.
Audree: Oh.
Michael: Wow.
Oh, yeah.
Audree: Excuse me.
Michael: That's intense, eh?
Audree: I'm having a
pain in my solar plexus.
Michael: Yeah.
And so I think for, for me the thing
Audree: to- Just hold on a second.
Well, you can continue talking, I guess.
Michael: Carry on amongst
Audree: yourself.
'Cause you're not talking to me.
Michael: I'm not talking to you.
Audree: Okay.
I
Michael: think the, the thing to clarify
here, it's not, "Hey, go watch movie X."
That's not what we're saying here.
What we're saying here is that
Get lost.
Stop trying to control it and, and be
open and receive whatever is coming
up in that moment, through that
movie, through that life experience.
You know, John Mark Straus says, you
know, "Watch the movie of your life."
That's why, you know, that's why
he does the waking up, so you can
watch the movies and see what comes
up for you while you're watching the
movies, and then watch the movie of
your life and see what's coming up.
And that's what this, this work is.
I, and, and you know,
and this is the teaching.
I mean, this is the, this is the truth
that goes across different traditions.
Uh, I don't think the Shi
would put it exactly like this.
I don't know what they'd say.
But, you know, one of our teachers,
Bhagwan, said, you know, "The, the only
book you need is the book of your life."
Audree: Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
' Michael: Cause it has all the lessons.
And so what they're saying
is, when you, youâ¦
All this whole awareness is the
primary mechanism of evolution.
It means that you're developing
your awareness, and you're
looking at your life experience.
That's why we have this model, live
no matter what, to start giving
people, "Well, how do I start
looking at my life experiences?
What does that mean?
What is, what is that thing that I
look at, that I have awareness of?
What is the thing going on inside me?"
And start having awareness of that.
Because that's the whole thing,
is when you start to develop that
awareness of what you're experiencing
moment to moment, you start toâ¦
That's the yes to your evolution,
and that yes opens and opens
and opens and opens and opens.
And that's what this journey is,
is you're opening your awareness,
your perception to the deeper and
deeper realities that allow you to
escape from the pain, not escape,
but transcend the pain and
suffering, and to materially change
your life in an extraordinary way
And I'm just getting this, this, this,
this m- transmission, this moment right
now of, well, when you really get that,
you see that there's nothing to do
Just be in that awareness
Audree: Like it's hard to
fathom that you've signed up
for every single experience
And if that were true
My- Then why are you resisting it?
Mm-hmm.
And that's hard to ⦠You know, we
get ⦠We have a whole entire industry
on victimhood, the trauma victim.
That's my identity.
That's what motivates me.
Like, even saying, you know, "Who the
fuck would do that to a 12-year-old kid?"
It's like I signed up for it.
Michael: You know what
I'm just getting now?
Audree: What?
The book Disappearance
of the Universe is true?
Michael: No.
I ⦠What was coming up in my
consciousness was two common
phrases that- Mm ⦠you know,
really are from the deviation of,
"It seemed like a good idea at the
time," and, "Poor life choices."
Mm-hmm.
What I'm getting right
Audree: now is ⦠They're
amazing life choices
⦠Michael: it was a good
It is a good idea.
It's the perfect idea.
It is the perfect life choice,
but we- we're in resistance
to understanding what it is.
Audree: Yeah.
Michael: Oh, that's really funny.
Audree: Yeah.
Can you let go of- I know
Michael: tragedy.
Funny
Audree: and tragic ⦠can
you let go of the resistance?
Can you let go of the anger?
Can you let go of the victimhood?
And
Michael: the answer is not yet.
Audree: Or why not yet?
Why not now?
Why not now?
Why not say yes?
Michael: I keep on coming back to this
famous part of Lord of the Rings, and
the, maybe it's not a famous part.
It's, it's important for me, where
Samwise stops when they're, when
they're walking across the Shire to
go into the unknown, and he stops,
and he says, "Wait, what's going on?"
He says, "Well, if I take one
more step, I've gone farther
than I've ever gone before
And that's what this
journey is, is going beyond
One stat, then another stat.
So we're, we're coming up on time here.
Is there anything else you wanna
conclude with, or do you feel complete?
Audree: I have a lot of gratitude
Michael: Me too.
I have, uh, the, well, first
of all, this realization that
we're not doing this alone.
The guides are here with us.
So it's not really just
Michael and Audrey on mic.
It's Michael, Audrey, and the guides.
Audree: No, I'm having a lot of
gratitude for my mom saying I'm an
adult now and I have to fend for myself.
Michael: Oh, that's so good.
Audree: Like, I just hired her.
That's the book, you know,
Disappearance of the Universe.
You hired everyone as an actor
for your life story to give you an
experience, and I hired her for that.
Mm.
Thanks
Michael: Why don't we close with,
uh, three minutes of just gratitude
for everything that's happened-
Audree: Yeah
⦠Michael: in everyone's lives?
So just tune into what's happened
in your life, and just have
gratitude for every single moment.
Audree: Oh, like a light
code activation gratitude.
Michael: Yeah.
It's like a light code
activation of gratitude, yeah.
Exactly.
But there's an application
component, so it's more than that.
It's activating this whole podcast.
And if you don't have gratitude, you can
have gratitude for all the resistance
Audree: Or just see how
you don't have gratitude.
That's fine.
Mm-hmm.
That's perfect
Michael: Thank you for joining us.
Let's be evolutionary
